T.K. plays bass on new Ralph McTell song. - March 26, 2009
T.K. played BBb Tuba (yes the TUBA)!! on a new song from Ivor Novello award winning and Lifetime acheivement award winning singer/songwriter Ralph McTell.It was recorded recently and is to be played on St.Georges day on BBC Radio 2.

T.K. on Channel 4 tv all week. - February 13, 2009
Tony King was seen all week at 10.30am - 11.30am on Channel 4 this week playing a starring role in the award winning, hit series 'Wakey Wakey Campers'.(There is a photo of T.K. & the rest of the cast in the photo gallery.

Mama Stones, Joss Stone etc... - July 25, 2008
T.K. has recently been asked to perform at a fantastic venue named 'MAMA STONES', which is owned and run by the management and family of global superstar 'Joss Stone'.
T.K. has been friends with Joss and her mum Wendy for the last six years, and is delighted to have been invited to perform for the evening.
The gig will, consist of T.K. with a 7 piece version of the band playing songs from the last album, a couple of classic covers, and a very rare opportunity to watch T.K. perform some classic stand up comedy. This gig is not to be missed!!Its on september 12th, and It's at MAMA STONES, North St, Wellington, Somerset

Well known South West 10 piece soul & funk covers band, '4 Tons Of Funk' have asked T.K. to cover the front man job for a gig at a High end Falmouth Hotel on sat 17th may.T.K. loves singin' all those stevie wonder/james brown/kool & the gang etc etc........ tunes!

TK was in London this week to play trumpet in the band for the official album release for 'FOLD's' new album entitled 'SLOWBURN'.

Well this month sees TK begin in earnest his live work for '08.
He is now involved in various projects for this year.He is playing percussion & trumet with funk & rare groove outfit 'the burnt out Allstars', singing with swing/cabaret trio 'Highly Swung', performing his solo gigs, and fronting the T.K. CONNECTION.
This year is expected to see TK cruising the med,performances in the far & middle east,and tons of uk gigs.
More detailed information will go up as the year progresses, so dont forget to come back for updates on TK and the band.

T.K. CONNECTION IN LONDON - February 28, 2008
Last Monday (25/02/08), The band went up to London and back to play for some nightclub bosses from Eilat, Israel.
The band played like demons and rocked the place. Mind you it was quite a trip, the band all went in one car and left Cornwall at 5am!! If you go to the photo gallery, there are some pics of the day!!........Quite funny.

One of the UKs finest jazz & funk guitarists, Martin Bowie is now playing with the band, and will be joining T.K. on his solo gigs.

T.K. To film 1hr special tv show with 35 piece orchestra!! - November 19, 2007
It has recently been confirmed that T.K. will be filming an hour long special tv show late this year, backed by a massive 35 piece orchestra, Tony will perform some of the massive swing hits of the rat pack era, plus some of his own songs, arranged for bigband.
The show will also feature a couple of very special guests.
To be filmed in a completely unique location, there will be some tickets to win via this website and various other media outlets, so keep an eye out!

T.K. busy in the studio - October 18, 2007
Tony King has been busy in the studio recently, lending his horn playing talents to various projects. He has contributed trumpet to the new 'Ricks Rebels' production, and both Trumpet and Trombone on the new Marty Wilson Piper (The Church) album.
Tony is also currently working hard on new material for his next release (due out next spring), as well as being busy on the Coorperate and Private function circuit.
Tony has been invited to open two major fundraising events in the new year at the fabulous Tregenna castle and Alverton Manor Hotels for 'South West Childrerns Hospice' Appeal to help raise a very much needed 5 million pounds for a new hospice in Cornwall.
Tony has also been asked to sing at next years (2008) Royal Cornwall Show.(2007 was attended by about 150,000 people)!

T.K. performed at Sandy Park Stadium in Exeter last Saturday for The Exeter Chiefs.

Tony Touring the uk & Europe - June 28, 2007
Hi all,
I thought I should just write and let you all know what's been going on since you last heard from me. I have spent the last 4 months making a new album, totally different direction musically, so stay tuned for that one !!
As far as the rest of this year is concerned, Im going to be touring the uk with gigs and street shows.Ive been singing at alot of weddings and private functions recently which is great to do!! Everyone in a great mood !!!
Il let you all know more when I have it!!
P.S. I would like to congratulate George Michael for including Home Park Stadium in Plymouth as part of his world tour (Amazing Show)!!(Should have asked me to support him though, and not that Sophie Ellis Bextor!!) & for being the 1st act to play the new Wembley Stadium!!!
